Make a Vinyl Stack!

During the first few months of the pandemic one of my best friends and I were doing door drop record trades while our local was closed. To help me through some low buy/no buy times, we are reinstating trades, so here is an outbound stack I put together for him:

Candy Claws & Jenn Morea – Ceres & Calypso In The Deep Time
Tei Shi – Crawl Space
Schawkie Roth ‎– Fortune Original Jazz Ballads
Inoyamaland ‎– Danzindan-Pojidon (New Master Edition)

...all four are unfamiliar to me, and I plan to change that also.

Wow, great variety!

Candy Claws is a shoegaze/dream pop group that sounds (to me) strikingly similar to Animal Collective in sound. I haven't listened to this one as often as other standout releases in the shoegaze genre, but it is well-regarded in shoegaze music circles.
Tei Shi is a criminally underrated synthpop/R&B vocalist.
Schawkie Roth was recommended by my favorite record store in Portland, and it hits the mark well enough. Spiritual jazz that would've gone past my radar otherwise.
Inoyamaland's Danzindan-Pojidon is a charming, classic Japanese ambient/new age record that would soundtrack 80s video games perfectly. I view this one as a permanent mainstay for my ambient library.
