KEF LS 50 Bookshelf speakers

Sure sure - I listened to a bunch of speakers, but not the LS50s to be fair. I ended up getting the DB1 Golds because they were head and shoulders above everything else. Cost me about $2000 AUD and they are worth every dollar.
 
Well the 300s are set up and running. These are truly wonderful speakers. Ended up paying $1,099 all in. Easily worth the money. These were supposedly display items and may have been used but they came in the box all wrapped up. I would've guessed that they were Brand new.

Cranked these babies up with some daft punk - superheroes and it feels like I'm in the studio.

Can't recommend these enough especially if you find them at a bargain since they're discontinued.

They re not really discontinued from what I understand. They just received some slight updates in 2018 with a nomenclature change form R300 to R3. That is a great deal considering MSRP is 1,999 for the R3's and you know my feelings about these speakers already. I love every thing about them. Also if you can give them some room off the walls and watch them come alive.
 
Thanks for the input! The rear ports are exactly 8 inches from the wall. I may be able to afford a few more inches without them being in the way.

haha. I love that thing. Dr. Mario is definitely one of my favourites. Also, looking at that picture I'm realizing that I need to do some Chord organization...
 
I have an older set of KEF and was looking to update / upgrade.

Thinking a set of LS50 and a sub would be awesome but good lord this is a tough decision. Anyone running a sub with their LS50?
