Hip Hop

One of the variants looks like Divino did the artwork. Just assuming here but it could very well be that there was different agreements made and Divino charged more money for his work

Yeah, the most limited one definitely seems to be a Divino cover. The thing is, there's like a 14 Euro difference between the cheapest OBI and it's non-OBI version. The pricing is fucked across the board.

I hope this situation is exclusive to this release, but the other labels Divino's released stuff on don't do this and de Rap Winkle has made some screwball decisions lately with a million variants, limited info, represses/deluxe versions shortly after release, pressing a ton of picture discs. Not mentioning the slipcase for the Rome & Ransom and then getting defensive in the comments wasn't a good look. They still have the sold out Zelooperz advertised as coming soom on the site banner, but no mention of this Divino / Big Ghost drop, at all. The IG didn't mention numbers for the variants, either.

Another thing is that, with almost every other drop, I see people asking for price and they usually just respond that it's the standard price they always have. As in, they say it's the same as always, like we should know their pricing. Then they do this shit.

If bots are the ones buying the rarest editions I say make it 500$
Make em pay lol
The cheaper OBIs was fine for regular organic buyers

No order:

Mach - Balens Cho
Mach - Pray 4 Haiti
Kanye - Donda (Deluxe)
Boldy x Alch - Bo Jackson
Planet Asia x Evidence - Rule of Thirds
Al Divino x Grubby Pawz - ccxxxvii
Rome Streetz x Muggs - Death and the Magician
Muggs - Winter 2
Larry June - The Orange Print
Westside Gunn - Hitler 8
Muggs x Yelawolf - Mile Zero
Nas - Kings Disease 2
Armand Hammer x Alchemist - Haram
Divino x Big Ghost - 2 Nights in Marrakesh
Droog - Time
Muggs x Crimeapple - Cartagena
Muggs x Hologram - American Cheese
Nat Burner x Grubby Pawz - Sonic Jewelry
Rome Streetz x Futurewave - Razors Edge
Navy Blue - Navy's Reprise

Top 20 is legit the best I can do and I'm sure I'm missing something. There's no way I can cut my favorites from the year to a top 3 lol. Pray 4 Haiti still my overall AOTY though i think.

And I still need to spend some more time with the new Droog and the new Jedi Mind Tricks.

Been another beautiful year for music forreal.

Edit.

But haven't seen anyone mention Ransom x Big Ghost - Heavy Is The Head. I really enjoyed that project too
