Starting a thread to discuss this era of music! What do you like and what don't you? What do you own and what do you want to own that you can't find? What needs to be pressed and hasn't been?
I'll start with this one: Alice in Chains. Personal favorite of the 90's Seattle scene. I've got DIRT, SAP, JAR OF FLIES, and UNPLUGGED all on MOV 180g. Recently purchased the self-titled album-- but I'm not sure it is an original press. Haven't listened to it yet, but have high hopes. Most of the self-titled album (AKA Tripod) vinyl appears to be a repress. I've also started seeing a record called "DON'T OPEN. DEAD INSIDE." (https://lp.reverb.com/listings/23236947/listings) Anyone familiar with this record? Any good?
Side note: Temple of the Dog was the first album I purchased. As I hear-- you always remember your first-- so I spent far more time considering what should hold the title. Still believe it a solid choice.
