I didn't know there was a Mime fight in the prologue 😲

though, I did hear/see something about a bald mine fight that's supposed to be hard...I guess I could look into that fight
Oh, that's the Doozy of a mine I found and can't beat. I thought that was the one you were talking about when you said you found a doozy of a mime!

To make matters worse, the bald mime fight only allows you to select one of your characters to battle it. You also better have your parry and/or dodge game ready to go, because if the mime lands a single hit, it's a one hit kill unless you have more than 10,000 hit points or a shield. And even if you survive that hit, it throws you off from being able to block the rest in the sequence.

Look for a purple and blue colored portal on the mountain ridge just south of where you battled the Axions or west of Eternal Night. The mime is hidden in a portrait you have to interact with.

nah, that was the Flying Manor Mime... I just remember that one being tough. I'll definitely seek it out after the tower.

Gestral fights are similar where you have to select 1 character. I don't mind that a ton, but rather go in with a full party.

Simon is the same way, one shot and you're gone

The Flying Manor Mime was not hard for me at all at level 87 when I beat it.

The bald mim is located in a sub location called Sunless Cliffs.

@Tillman,

Just a heads up, complete Act III now if you haven't already. You can go back and explore the world and defeat all the optional bosses after the credits.

If you grind / level up too much, the end battle is no challenge. I just completed it taking no damage and ended each segment of the battle in a single round.

Interesting.

I also wonder if they will add in manual saves. There's a lot of people complaining about the game not having those, which is essential to how most people play JRPGs. You just have the auto save data, so you can't have two concurrent games going on at the same time unless you use a different profile on your console according to some people where others say creating a new game will start a new slot. I'm hesitant to try it to get the mime encounter in the prologue until I hear more certainty about this. As I have also heard people say there is only one slot.

you can usually force an auto-save simply by changing one of the characters, well just about anything.

I'll usually just pick whoever, switch to whatever weapon, exit... it'll save. then I'll switch back to the weapon I want
