oh, I don't have that yet.
I got the ability before that, which obviously opens up to new locations and enemies, and fought a Mime for 20 minutes that could basically one-shot certain team members... I beat it, but became pretty obvious I'd need level up if I was going to fight anything harder
so now I have 2 characters with level 32 weapons and all my characters are between Levels 65-68, I think I'm ready to head out and fight some difficult battles now
Increase your friendship level with Esquie at camp to 6 by talking to him.

I just did this a bit earlier myself... and what comes directly after as well.
then found the climbing beach...ugh. that made me almost want to give up, but finally got it done
