Bandbox: an uncompensated review of an interesting new club

I love your description. A great album that I still spin. I’m glad I was able to hop on the happy birthday promo And get the Nada Surf “The weight is a gift” record.

Maybe it’s because my DAP only does 8x unfolding, and not the full 16x, But I really can’t hear much of a difference from other high resolution formats. Or, maybe my ears are just lousy and not up to audiophile snuff.

Well that’s all that really counts as long as you’re happy. Been very happy with the Yamaha, and the bluesound also looks like a great device.

No, using a USB stick. From what I understand, a networked computer can also be used for Hi-Rez local. I apologize though, I am unsure if using an external HD Is possible.

I play local high resolution audio through the USB port on the Yamaha.

It doesn’t do MQA, but the Yamaha WXC-50 is cheaper than the Bluesound.

U-Turn Turntables - Discussion, questions and advice.

The Grado black1 still sounds great on my U-Turn table. In fact, It’s done such a great job, that I’m stil in no rush to upgrade to the 8MZ.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. See the thing is, I was of the understanding that I could possibly switch Styluses without having to do anything else. Referring to the black1 to 8MZ the black1 Has served me very well, and again, I know I have a limited upgrade path. I’m just afraid...

What's Going On Up There- The Headphone Thread

Denon doesn’t usually get a lot of talk on audio forums, But their mid to higher and headphones are pretty good IMHO I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the AH-D2700

Grado Cartridges and Stylus - Questions and Advice.

Referring specifically to the 8MZ. I wanted to know if I had any other upgrade path. Right now, I’m perfectly fine with the Grado Black 1. But in the future, I also want to get better sound and upgrade. Wasn’t sure I had much of an upgrade path

Grado Cartridges and Stylus - Questions and Advice.

@HiFi Guy Would this stylus be interchangeable with a black1 stylus? Or is basically my only upgrade path the 8MZ stylus?

Nice club if you live in the UK. As another member already mentioned, the shipping Sort of kills it for me.

Well I don’t know about that, But I do know that you definitely get a big bang for your buck with the R6 Pro. Been using it with balanced Denon AH-D7200 cans. It’s incredibly powerful. I also like that I had access to the Google play store out of the box.

Wow, that’s a nice one. No particular questions, Was just curious in general. I have the Hiby R6 Pro, And I’m enjoying high resolution for the first time. It almost feels like I’m cheating on my turntable.
