I don't see any issues inside the platter bearing hole. It does look dry, though. Would this lube work?

I was using a Pro-Ject tube box DS.

It was simply that the bearing needed lube. This was in 2020 when I bought the ultra deck, so it's probably time to lube it again.

I may have seen that post back when I first bought the mofi. I had a noise issue back then and got the lube. I'll have to see if I can find it.

I put a little squirt of this inside the platter side of the bearing shell, then wiped it with a q-tip to remove excess and spread around. The sound is gone. I appreciate the tip!
