I haven’t come across any news about succession planning. The label is built so much on his taste and singular vision that it wouldn’t be surprising to see it end with him. Hopefully it continues in some form. Brand recognition would still carry some clout if its output isn’t significantly...

Amen to that. All I know is that it will never be the same, and that’s very sad. But good wishes for the future and here’s hoping the company will land in good hands with deep respect for its legacy.

I have already bought too much from this sale but I’m really tempted by some of the Keith Jarrett ECM titles, especially Belonging.

Great call on Chernobyl, it is so good. Reznor/Ross electronic soundtracks get all the hype but the soundtracks for Chernobyl and DEVS are just as good, if not better. Yes, some great Eno in the sale too, even a few of the Abbey Road half-speed masters are available. I’m a big fan of Wrong Way...

Check out that Cluster record if you haven’t. If you like Hans-Joachim Roedelius, I’d be surprised if you didn’t like Zuckerzeit, although it is more conventional than most of Cluster’s other material. I’ve had dotA saved since the last sale too but haven’t pulled the trigger. Very curious...

After some deep-digging, was surprised to find Sasaki Hideto/Sekine Toshiyuki Quartet + 1 ‎– Stop Over from Tony Higgins' BBE Music J Jazz Masterclass Series. Damn good price and not all that easy to find stateside that I know of.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering if that kind of cut was good for this album but you guys have me intrigued. That said I have the recent regulation Bernie remaster and have been pretty happy with it.

Groovy. So is it cut as hot as the Discogs reviews say it is? Did you pick it up because of that? On a side note, holy crap, Discogs now lists 1,000+ versions of this album. Bonkers!
