I updated my resume today and wrote the first cover letter I have ever written.
My oven has been on the blink for a few months while repair guys scratch their heads… the stove died tonight. Fortunately, I’ve got two instant pots, a crock pot and an air fryer. It feels like I’m on an extend top chef quick fire.
The more I listen to The War on Drugs the more they become a top tier band for me.
This is the same time yesterday that my resolve was tested regarding a caffeine free life.
Man… this is gonna be fun. /s
I’ve never noticed how much early Soundgarden sounds like Sabbath. I blame this on two things… 1. Being at work doing administrative tasks at 1230 am. 2. The amount of smoke in the rooms when I listened to this stuff in college.
Tonight is my first night on Third shift. This afternoon meeting I am in can go straight to hell.
Things I worry about for no real reason: just knowing there is a show called Help I Wrecked My House makes me think I will need their services.
First show since January 2020 tonight. Isbell and Hiss Golden Messenger. Excite excite!
Nothing like a day full of meetings to remind me why I hate meetings.

Man, I have to go back to work in two weeks.
There are a few Carolina exclusives coming out on Friday. So far, I’ve identified Sylvan Esso, Mountain Man and The Brief Encounter. Wallet is sooooo tired.
I just want to stop for a moment and appreciate all of you. This is the only place where serious music discussion happens and folks can freely wave their banners for Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson and other seemingly reviled acts. -
