#1 reason I am fine with not being in a band. It's rough! And then you aren't done, you have to load out.

Yuck.

I went to a show last night, got back home around 11:30 and I had an on site interview this morning at 10am. I literally do not remember the first half of the interview haha

I got in at 1 a.m., tried to wind down quickly and get some sleep...then got up at 6:15. Good thing I've been busy enough at work to keep my mind and body awake.

I work 7 days straight and get home at 3 am every night. I do not get anything done at all until at least 3 pm the following day. Which is usually about 3 hours before I have to go back to work.

@Teeeee there was a house kit last night! Sticks and a snare is all I brought. That bought me a precious hour of sleep.

@Mather - So you don't have a day off, like ever? What do you do for a living? I've been a gigging drummer for 25+ years and yet have never been able to quit my day job....for most of us there's just so little money in it, especially original music.

I'm a technical director for a national sports network in Canada. So yeah I work seven straight but then I get seven off, at least through the winter. Changes when baseball starts. It's actually a pretty great schedule but the 3am home time every night SUUUUUCKS.
