1L of solution in my house cleans around 125 records both sides.

is that record cleaner or distilled water.. because 2L of water is fine... 2L of spin clean record cleaner seems like the most overkill possible

I use a squeaky clean. That’s an average of 4ml of cleaning fluid per side. A Liter costs me around $1 including the distilled water.
