I'd just like to formally thank all of you for your helpful advice, and I would invite you to please cast your gaze towards the middle finger of my right hand as it slowly raises.
If it originally had gutters the catastrophic thing happens with the first rain. It’s a very slow thing at first. The recommended amount of time without is zero. Failing that the delay before remedy needs to be an earnest ASAP preferably with a competent inspection and tear out and replacement as needed once installation begins. If the house were originally built without gutters it could be a different story.
The installer removed the old ones and was supposed to put the new ones on tomorrow but he brought the wrong color, or shade of color I guess. So he was trying to claim it would take weeks to fix it, I said get it done this week. It's been worked out... Hopefully... $1500 CAD flat for fascia, troughs, downspouts and covers... in the slightly wrong shade, done tomorrow...
Dude, in Canadian dollars in the Toronto housing market that's a damn steal of a price. But no, I hate this. My Okki Nokki broke again so I gotta throw that out and buy something fancier. I want the money for that.
