Oh. Remove the platter. Twist tie the arm in place. Use Kleenex folded thick so the arm doesn't get scratched. Remove the counterweight so there's no stress on the bearings. Transport the turntable in your car.
Thanks guys. I have the new Fluance and the box it came in so that will be packed the way I got it. Stylus not in a box but tucked under styrofoam with the protector on. My extra head shell that has a grade black I don't have a protector on so that's why I'm asking.
Some turntables have screws under the platter to help stabilize some of the parts like the motor and or transformer under the plinth. If you don't see any under the platter, don't worry about it.
