A few years ago (....10 years ago?...damn, I'm getting old), Guinness released a product in the States (and maybe elsewhere, I dunno) called Guinness 250. In my memory, it is the best thing ever. But I don't know if it is just so incredible in memory because (1) I can't get it anymore, (2) that was a really fun time in my life, or (3) it was really that great.

Next time you have a pint hold it up to the light and you’ll know the truth. It’s actually a really deep ruby red!

Im in work, I can just about get away with this, if I start playing music out loud I’ll really piss my colleagues off!

I remember them telling me this at the tour of the brewery. I then forgot after a group of little old ladies brought my wife and I their 4 pints that they didn't want to drink but did the "pour yourself a pint" gimmick at the last stage of the tour. I feel like we could have had 10 more for free by just stalking people who didn't look like they wanted theirs.

Always go for brewery/distillery tours with people who don’t like the product and are just there for the tour. I ended up with 3 people’s Jameson and getting picked for the blind taste test between Irish/Scotch/Bourbon there as well because they didn’t want to do it...
