@Matt M What records did you get at the stores? I was thinking about participating in the event when it was announced months ago but EM and Jackpot are not among my go-to's for record shopping.

EM seems a little clique-ish and snobby to me so I avoid it. Jackpot is good if you want a Jackpot release, and sometimes they bleed out large collections in the front new (used) bin. I mostly go to MM.

@Rip_City @High Rant District Yeah, I didn't love EM being a part of it, they usually have crap and their used stuff is always beat to shit. And we hit both of them. It was more about just tooling around with some other record lovers. Met a few great people, so that was fun. Hoping to take my daughter to Cascade Record pressing and get a tour with one gal I met, she'll love it.

Millenium and Jackpot I go to quite a bit, and 10% off didn't really get me to buy anything. I did buy Sloan's Commonwealth at EM new, I've seen it there before and felt I needed to buy something on a record store crawl! We talked with the guy running it and hoping they'll mix in some other stores next year.

People that had gone before said this was the weakest year so far, less giveaways and excitement. I had fun though. Gift bag had a lot of fun stuff in it.
