That and whether or not they'll discover the baby northern spotted owl I'm smuggling in my brand new (/ branded) anorak

No chance, they'll be too busy admiring the anorak and asking you where you got the anorak and hoping against all odds that there are still some anoraks in stock so that they might purchase said anorak.

That's what I'm banking on

I had a head cold, took a plane, experienced agonizing pain in my ear, had a layover and had to get back on another plane, same agonizing pain. Went to the ENT and was informed that I had bruised by ear drum from the pressure. I didn't know that was possible. So, I can empathize.

Well... now I feel worse... I also did not know that was possible... I think it's getting better though so hopefully no bruise for me...

Oh no, why do you feel worse???? I will say that the bruising incident made me buy a pair of Tommy the Train ear plug things for airplanes and they help tremendously. Yes, Tommy the Train because I have child size ears.

I feel worse because now my right ear that is still at 30,000 feet could be bruised instead of just annoying hahaha

I'm so sorry. Find some Tommy the Train ear plugs. Lol
