See, first you have to listen at 80db and lose your hearing so that you need 80db to even hear it.

All i know is next time the wife complains about it being too loud, I’m pulling out the decibel meter. Hey @debianlinux y’all got a couch?

@Lee Newman prolly gonna have to BYOC as the one we have tends to be in constant use. We could use one in the basement though, where you can also put your own system and blast as loud as you like. Come to think of it you could have your own personal, weekend listening room.

In my first setup the turntable would shake at 52 dB. Now that I’ve got a more stable system I’ve gotten to 65, but that was with guests over. Now I usually go between 35-50.
