Half way through this album and I'm still perplexed by the obsession with Boygenius and Phoebe Bridgers.

I really like Boygenius and all 3 of the songwriters separately but it really does feel like a friendly cult at times. They're very good, but clam down a little bit everyone.

My hot take is that Phoebe Bridgers is the weakest of the boygeniuses. I will now prepare to be tarred and feathered.

My wife is convinced that Phoebe Bridgers has stolen her fame and the crown for Sad Girl Queen based off pretty-privilege alone and the more I listen to her music the more I'm convinced she may be right.

I haven’t heard anything by Boygenius or Phoebe Bridgers that matches the best of solo Julien Baker.

@Ghost I think she's talented, but the pretty-priviledge is definitely real.
