Needles & Grooves

A guy I went to college with got really heavy into that. His FB posts made it sound like he was taking crazy risks but he always seemed to be able to stay on top of it and he took some really wild trips with his wife for next to nothing. I think he backed off of it once he had kids. I never understood how any of it worked.

Was this like the guy who bought pallets of dollar coins with a credit card and then took the coins and deposited them in hundreds of different banks?

@Indymisanthrope yeah, those point hacks and betting hacks definitely work, but it takes an incredible amount of effort. Might be worth it if you have the time + brain power to put towards it, but at this point in my life I'll take the quickest and most secure route. I don't need those things occupying my mind.

is this like extreme couponing where if you make the effort it can pay off but it's a lot, I mean, a lot of effort?
