the first two albums, rubber soul, and revolver are simply un listenable for me in stereo, I have a mono revolver, acquiring mono copies is astronomical to state the obvious (not interested in us versions)

Here’s hoping they just repress the mono box, even if they do it from files I could care less.

Records. No but I will sometimes listen to the stereo mix digitally with a nice pair of headphones. Having the crazy separation makes it feel like the band is bouncing around my head. It’s kind of distracting but in a fun way.

It would be cool if they just do the stereo mixes properly with whatever process they used for the Peter Jackson stuff

I assume Giles will do the whole catalog. I like the original stereo mixes but mostly reach for the mono

I do..but only because I'm used to hearing them that way. When I used my old Marantz 2245 I often used the mono button, though.

Yes because that’s pretty much how I listened to them from toddler to 31. I prefer the mono mixes and won’t listen to anything else in the car or on headphones. The car is the absolute worst because you have half the mix blasting at your face and the other half floating over on to the left at fhe passenger. At home on the stereo though they do sound much more acceptable.

I do like listening to Sgt Pepper’s in headphones. It’s fun.

No mono box or digital files here, so not much choice unfortunately...
