@Lee Newman it seems like I'll get them back. They have one more house to unload and "it should be" in the truck. Realistically there's no way they could have lost only 1 box. But thanks to everything being in discogs order I'll know what it was if I do have to file a full replacement value claim
I'm moving in January to another state. Luckily my employer is paying and I'm doing a partial, where they ship some and pay me to haul other stuff. What am I hauling - anything of value to me that can be potentially broken. Better believe I already have like 20 boxes of records ready to go.
I'm getting a 15' uHaul and then towing my car, personally. While a 15' uHaul would be way too much for just my records I am also using it for things like my PC, TV, guitars and amps, stereo equipment, other valuables, and things I don't want to wait for the moving company to get to me. Basically, the moving company is moving my furniture.
@Melt Face Molly Drop Yea I've got a Honda Fit so no option to do that. However, my job will pay me for how much weight I haul (basically, get weigh tix for the uHaul before and after loading) and that will cover the cost of the rental plus I get paid a rate for the miles I drive (regardless of whether or not I hauled stuff).
