What if it's a 2xLP? Do you A/B/C/D test?

Yes. I'd do the first side of each back to back.

My memory isn't sufficient enough to compare side to side, so I'll switch back and forth between tracks or sometimes a couple minute sections at a time.

I'll do them by side.
