You aren’t missing much. 40 something year old NYT music critics who attended UVA in the early 90s was too much of a music snob to appreciate DMB at the time but now she thinks they are neat.

Thought it was an interesting point that we are defined by what we dislike just as much as what we like

I didn't listen to DMB in high school, not because I was a snob I just never really got into it. However over the past year I've gone pretty deep into DMB. I saw them twice this summer and track the setlist e every night. Kind of wish I got into them sooner.

@dbarila part of me thinks you’re better off “discovering” this band in its current formation.

Also, I don’t think anyone can dispute that Dave is a model human being, albeit quirky as hell. Everyone likes to joke about the Chicago dumping incident, which was of course the fault of the bus driver, but the guy gives back nonstop.

I've been seeing Dave live since I was 17 (I'm only 30 tho lol) one of the best live shows still to this day and I've been to some bangers. Not only that out of the 8 shows I've been to in the last 13 years they've hardly repeated songs and have pulled some gems out here in Tampa

This was my favorite show still to this day. My first Dave show and probably favorite setlist they've ever done here
