Not sure if it's Southwest but you can defer the tickets to a later date if so. Some other airlines may be similarly accommodating as long as the money stays with them. Same for airbnb.

@Melt Face Molly Drop good to know, but with both us working, school for the kids, not so easy. Maybe my wife and I can fly on our own depending on when the make up date is, but we‘re still going to make a trip of our one that’s already booked. My wife and I still plan on going out on the concert night, just need to find something else to do!
