Did it expire? I usually set a reminder for escalation which I think is two weeks after filing.

It expired yesterday.

Clearly I should have paid closer attention. Only my second time doing one of these and the first time the seller ponied up right away.

You could try to re-submit?

Yeah, I can't resubmit that exact claim so I'm gonna have to be a little creative with the remaining options... but I'm gonna try - certainly can't lose me any more money, and with luck it will gain some back!

i thought you just file a claim and if seller fails to address the issue within a certain amount of time the buyer is refunded seems like how the two calims i've ever made worked out.

That's what I thought too, but they closed my case with no refund because it wasn't escalated by me or responded to by the seller. Seems like an annoying an uncessary extra step - like obviously I'm filing the claim for a reason!

What happened initially? Bought something on Discogs and then radio silence?

@Turbo Yeah. Their profile has been cleared out and lots of negative reviews that they are a scammer. I imagine they made a bunch of phony sales and fucked off!

Fucking fuckers. Sounds like the system is set-up so they can still make money if a few people get caught-up like you trying to navigate the recourse procedures.
