I have not watched Avatar, Titanic or Forrest Gump and my life is still complete and fulfilling.

It's gunna be terrible, just like the first one.

they’re amazing audiovisual experiences, that’s the main reason to see them. no interest at home.

Right there with ya. Avatar might be my generations Citizen Kane but I’ll never know, I am not gonna spend 3+ hours watching a video game.

if anyone has watched significant portions of the MCU and is looking down their nose at Avatar they have some soul-searching to do

While I do agree more than half are silly action movies, at least they have ‘nerd’ culture and written work attached. Avatar is out of left field

@Memo I mean, I'm not a giant Avatar defender or anything, but Cameron pushed visual effects forward by years with the first film. It still looks extraordinary in 3D over a decade later.
