I feel like the the album they selected as #1 was appropriate. The album is rightfully universally beloved across all subsections of popular culture.

I am now waiting for the top 100 lists of all time. If "10 best cheeses for grilled cheese sandwiches" does not make the top 10 on it, I am calling BS

I felt so many emotions reading through this.

Weird to see Highway 61 so low on the list. Also something I've always wondered on these lists that have Nirvana so high and Pearl Jam lower. Is it that Nevermind is such a specific artifact frozen in time that it remains seminal? Meaning they never mellowed out like Pearl Jam, so they are seen through a different lens of constant youth?

Pretty balanced list. Love the inclusion of Toxicity as most publications still won’t touch nu metal with a 10 foot pole.

First takes….in what universe is The Fame Monster better than Highway 61 Revisited? And while I love Mellon Collie, it’s bloated, and Siamese Dream is a much more cohesive record.
