Definitely doesn't help. Also find myself giving albums with great artwork more chances even if it's not really clicking.

Yes, I especially hate album covers with people or animals who have wounds and blood. I have a tough time wanting to own the albums.

Honestly bjorks covers (e.g. homogenic, utopia, maybe vulnicura) made me not want to listen to the albums

Yes. It could potentially dissuade me from buying a physical copy. I could still stream it with no issue if it was something I liked or wanted to hear, however it would be less likely for me to randomly check out something unknown to me if the artwork was bad.

Absolutely. If I find the artwork off-putting (violent, gory, grotesque) I usually won't own the album. If it's sexist or reads that way I won't listen to the album or possibly the band at all (exceptions for albums/songs from, like, my childhood and before I knew about them)
