(1/2) I mean, there's a lot of history behind the MC5, this particular album, and the controversy surrounding one of the most legendary f-bombs in rock history that still makes the censored version and important historical document. The MC5 were a very dangerous band in the late 1960s and rock music (and, truly, the genesis of punk music) was still a serious threat to the status quo
(2/2) At the end of the day, it's a live recording of a punk show from the 1960s. It's gonna sound like shit no matter what pressing you get, so I'm totally fine with a reissue as long as I can get the full, uncensored MC5 experience
