I have no idea how Into The Night by Benny Mardones became a hit. The opening line, “She’s just 16 years old, leave her alone they say…separated by fools who don’t know what love is yet.”

Joe Jackson, “Steppin’ Out” or Tom Tom Club, “Genius of Love.” These both literally makes me twitchy with rage.

Wait. Does removing the song “from existence” mean it was never written, and therefore has no influence or legacy on our world? Or does it mean we all still remember it but we can’t listen to it anymore? If the latter, what stops someone from re-recording it?
