I thoroughly enjoyed it, but there HAS to be some sort of recency bias going on right? Like, have people forgot about The Dark Knight?

Not at all. The Dark Knight is still my favourite Batman trilogy but as a standalone movie this was excellent

For sure, my only complaint for the whole thing was the riddler. Would have preferred if they kept that role more silly psycho instead of psycho-psycho.

Interesting...I much prefer a twisted psychopath version than a cartoony Ridler à la Jim Carey

Plus Paul Dano was fantastic in the role
