I don't, until I inevitably drop the phone and shatter it, then I get a case.
I do this with literally every new phone I get. Because maybe THIS is the one I don't shatter... stiiiill waiting...

I got a clear case in order to showcase my purple phone.

Screen protector yes, but my phone is naked!!

I'm screen protector, naked phone. Every couple of years I smarten up and buy a case. And then remove it a week later, because it doesn't feel the same.

Wow, I'm surprised so many have naked phones! I've never been a big waterproof otter box person but always a sleek case on it. Most recently I've been using one that can hold three cards in it and it's still sleek. So I've ditched my wallet altogether and just go everywhere with my phone and my keys.

nah otter box is the way to go, no screen protector for me because I'm very careful with not dropping it or treating it horribly where it'll get scratched. I've had iphones all the way from 4 to now 13 and I have never cracked or scratched a screen.

I had no case for years on an iPhone. Then one day it was on my lap and I dropped it maybe 1 foot off the ground. It landed flat on the screen and cracked it. Now I’m team case. Mine has a clear back though

I drop my phone once a week. Y'all are some psychos living on the edge.

@Ponman2003 right!? I'm reading stuff like I've never cracked a screen in my life and I'm just like "better not tell them I'm on my second screen this year".

I think of it like a seat belt. Of course I drive safely and don't plan on needing to use it, but I wear it anyways. Same with a phone case.

Oh, I'm the idiot who has broken several and still goes case-less. And I let my kids play with my phone. I'm a madman.

@Tys1 same, haven’t used a wallet in years. Turns out three cards is really all I need for >95% of my daily life.

@Indymisanthrope I lost my wallet about year ago, I got this phone case just before I lost it, thank goodness. I STILL haven't replaced my debit card (haven't needed to). The only thing I really lost out big on was my Dave and Busters card which had tons of tickets on it, and of course I'm the idiot that didn't do their online linkage thing.

I think my phone has looked the same the past 5-6 years since I've gotten the same case style for my phones.

The question is do people use glass screen protectors? I used to protect my phone as much as I can. I decided to finally skip the glass on this phone and within a month - i got this scratch on it. I have regrets now.
