From what I am reading, it’s amongst the best sounding versions. I might have to upgrade from my US geffen double LP.

Ooohhh....love when there is some XTC talk. I like when it pops up sporadically....don't know if a thread suits them. But anyway, I have some OG XTC pressings but not ES. However, I have the 2016 deluxe box pressing and the 2019 RE. While I cannot compare to an OG, if you're looking for a great sounding pressing of the album, that it is. Buy with confidence.

I like the reissue.

It may not be a lot better than the original UK 2 lp, but at least mine has less surface noise than the original.
