She thinks I’m selling the records to fund a deck I want to build(I don’t want to build a deck)

Are you required to put 20% down? I never thought we could afford a house but we just bought one and only had to put 3%.

@Bohnjaggs at 3% were you an FHA loan then? A conventional can have less than 20 but there will be some other considerations cause of that

@Bohnjaggs yeah, it’s going to be right around the 20%. Other reasons for that like budget set up, family being the sellers, ect

Assuming her family either owns the home or has a ton of equity in it, are you just bypassing a loan and paying them directly?
