No. Heaters and hi fi do not mix. Please be careful. I can’t tell you how many people in Florida have burned their homes down (some have even lost their lives) using space heaters.

Unfortunately my building has a central heating system and no individual thermostat. It's usually fine but pretty cold when I have to start work at 6am. This would basically just be warming me up for a couple hours in the morning/evening. Also very few outlets in my apartment

Hot shower, coffee/tea/cocoa/oatmeal, soup, hot water bottle (old school), thermal drapes over windows, heavy comforter, door drafter. Do you have natural gas hookup ? I seriously just want something to point at my feet when they get cold. It's that simple. Not planning on leaving it on overnight or unattended, not trying to burn anything down. This one also automatically shuts off if its tipped over.
