Have trouble hard agreeing but I do think it must be a bit of a lost art. Mastering engineers used to be in the business of making vinyl sound good because if it didn't soind good on vinyl then the album just didn't sound good.

Absolutely, that makes perfect sense. All these 4AD labels and ones like them that clearly all use the same shit plant that make Rainbo presses seem audiophile … it’s so disheartening that they’re the only option for many great new artists.
