There’s been some goodies. Booksmart, Game Night, Good Boys, Blockers in terms of pure laughs. Lots of good comedies that aren’t necessary as funny per se.

Anything made by Taika Watiti, I've seen 2 of them mentioned so far. And personally I thought Barb and Star was horrible. Like, "how did this actually get made" horrible. Was hoping for something more like Bridesmaids I guess.

@tvham and @DJSJ I have a soft spot for incredibly dumb comedies where everyone enjoys playing up the stupid. To me it’s similar to the likes of Dumb & Dumber, Billy Madison, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, MacGruber, or Anchorman. Maybe not quite as good but I also haven’t watched it a million times so who knows.
