They’re garbage

I just picked up both the first and second albums at SOV. Paid $3 more than Amazon on the belief they'll actually arrive intact.

I will say this. Butch Vig... motherfucking Butch Vig. How can a remaster improve?

I assumed they’re just represses?

Everything I've read says remastered...........

I got both st and version 2.0 today and they both sound amazing. I also have the version 2.0 20th anniversary orange pressing. If anything I might say the 20th anniversary issue has a little more bass. But maybe it’s my imagination.

Continuing from previous post. These remasters are also 45 rpm, the 20th anniversary is 33 rpm

Well, I am officially excited. I have wantEd both on vinyl since they released. The originals were so few in number they were gone and immediately out of financial reach. I missed the 20th anniversary release and ended up in the same boat. I've spent many hours contemplating making the purchase for at least V2.0. I adore both albums and consider them whales.

Gonna spin up the s/t in the morning I think. Looking forward to checking out the 45s. Kinda wish I’d have grabbed 2.0 as well, but I had the orange one and a shoot-out didn’t cross my mind.
