I'd not try it, I think there's only about a quarter-inch clearance between my stylus and turntable in resting position, though it's "only" about as thick as Edison shellacs. But I do think it's funny and kinda want one.

Old school turntables with automatic record changers could play stacks of a few LPs. Also, some high-end tonearms have vertical adjustments that being said definitely a bit of a novelty for sure.
