I have Comcast and could literally stream any event and watch it whenever… That being said it’s almost a paralysis of choices. I usually just end up watching Rich Eisen do his hour long Sportcenter-esque highlight show Tokyo Gold on repeat for like 3 hours every morning.
@Rip_City I feel ya on that. I think it's one of those things we play as a game growing up so we don't look at it as an elite thing until you see someone who truly excels at it and then it is mesmerizing
The best things I’ve seen this Olympics thus far was the entire town of Seward Alaska lose their collective shit when that 17 year old won gold and the entire country of Fiji lose their collective shit when their Rugby team beat the All Blacks to win the gold.
I won't watch those really long races, but regular length events and relays are pretty exciting, IMO. I always find myself leaning towards the finish line to help. I do find the male swimmers on Team USA always have a cockiness that inches close to NFL wide receiver territory, which is funny to me. Not saying they aren't great at what they do, but, c'mon.
@Melt Face Molly Drop - I read today that the New Zealand coverage took an ad break during the minute silence for the Covid dead during the opening ceremony, so capitalism really doesn’t care about anything!
