@Aelias there may be some fire raining down upon the Int. PIF thread in the next week or so. Culling is hard. I mean sure I've literally spun this Timothy McNeely once in four years... BUT WHAT IF I WAS WRONG AND TOMORROW IT'S ALL I WANT IN THE ENTIRE WOOOOORLD
Man, I do it every couple months. I pull a dozen albums I haven't played in a while for one final spin and then when I play them am reminded why I bought it in the first place, shrug, and put them back on the shelf.
I pulled out the VMP Joel Ross Bluenote that's KPG mastered but had the horribly poppy pressing. All prepared to sell it, then cleaned it with my new cleaning solution and it played near perfect. I'm equal parts happy and annoyed because that was the worst pressing in my collection so I was all ready to get rid of it... NOW IT'S A KEEPER DAMMIT
@bfly you can have my projector that the bulb exploded into a million pieces of white hot shrapnel directly above my head and I thought the world was ending.
2 years, a zillion dollars, arcade machines, movie theatre, neon lights, all for it to be referred to as the "murder basement" until the end of time...
I have to say when I dubbed the rumpus room the "murder dungeon" I never realized it would have such longevity. Of course that was before the OPP found 32 severed feet spread around the greater Toronto area.
But back to the execution culling. I have a kallax cube 3/4 full of stuff to sell when I am able to leave my shithole of a town.
@McGlam I only got through disc one before I had to go to work. But I very much hope disc two holds up, I'm almost certain they were both a total mess before the new clean. I know I tried the old solution multiple times and it did nothing. But I'm thrilled actually because I quite like that record...
It's the Christo stuff that Hifi was touting a while back. Its been good but I never really noticed a big difference until I got to this pressing, massive improvement.
@djdavedk@Archduke Diaper Baby yeah that's the stuff although I think the type I got is just the basic concentrate. The box I have just looks like this...
