i feel like my youth is over??? i feel like i should be a grown up???? instead i moved back in with my parents and decided to go back to college????? i should be married with kids or something ?????????????????
For what it's worth, 26 was one of the best years for me. 27 was even better. Now I'm going to be turning 32 so I'm feeling nostalgic for that period. Although I do see people my age having more of their shit together, I let go of the pressure to be more adult. No kids or marriage, and that's perfectly fine.
But I can't help but feel old sometimes. I went out to eat with co-workers last week and had a realization halfway through that I was the oldest one there (along with my girlfriend). It bummed me out for like a full day.
My god, you're a baby. The other day my 7yo was crying because she feels like her "youth is slipping away." This honestly sounds just about as hilarious to me.
Don't waste your youth worrying about aging. Aging is a gift, but at no point in your 20s is your youth over. And few people get it together in their 20s. The 30s are way better.
Trust me, and while it seems to be a bit cliche', it's only a number. Life isn't, or at least shouldn't, be lived by some odd ball age to life milestone chart somewhere..........live YOUR life as YOU see it and it'll all work out as it should
Agree that the 30s are awesome, but the 40s are good too! Age truly is a number and I really don’t feel much different than my 20s except maybe a little more creaky haha.
No comment about hitting 68 But seriously, stay active, eat healthier, cut stress, no drama, and stay happy. Most of all Peace, Love, Understanding, & Music!
