My little sister was around 3 years old when I first watched Grave of the Fireflies and it broke me irrevocably. I would randomly start crying even weeks later.

This one's on my list and this gif has now set the stage for utter emotional havoc

I watched it before I had kids and was like, wow, this is a powerful movie. Then like @kvetcha I watched it again when my daughter was little and was like, nope, never again
