Not gonna lie, I am extremely happy I added a Tape deck to set up. It will never fully replace LPs but it scratches a nice itch especially for the price.

Omg, noooooo! I know it can be super frustrating that so many records are noisy and the hobby is expensive on top! All I have to say is that you have an gloriously delicious turntable setup, and you have countless audiophile records! Also, your setup is very attractive, as is your taste when it comes to record collecting! So keep it up!!! 😊

I gotta be honest, between "quality over quantity", and more importantly, an RCM, noise and or crackle from dirty records are next to minimal. The only thing you can do for bad pressings is not buy them. There's still plenty of "good" to be had.

Cost? Quality control? Quantity? Or something else?

Agree with @AnthonyI here. There’s no secret sauce that’ll save a bad press!

This isn’t about records so much as the less than flattering cut of the new gimp suit, isn’t it?

Go digital brother and then reduce your vinyl purchases to good quality presses only. Stop gambling with VMP and other pre-orders.
