Whatever genre those videos that auto play on facebook of people singing covers and looking all longingly into each other's eyes in slow motion is called.

Metal heads seem particular about what is considered as being "Metal". Seems that whatever they put their seal of approval on is precisely the "music" that grates the fuck out of me. And if I can't read the band name, it puts me in a bad mood.

All those ballad-y songs they play on the rock stations. Stuff like Don't Wanna Miss a Thing, Time of Your Life... great now I'm too mad to think of any others.

Every time I say I hate reggae people react like I just tripped their Nana. Lived with a bunch of Hawaiians in college and it was on 24/7. So repetitive and way too optomistic for my Elliott Smith loving grumpy ass at the time.

Hot take hates are also: modern smooth jazz, bro country, but the WORST might be white boy reggae/hippie/jam music or Wheggae which is so prevalent (still?!) here in Southern California.
