My friend was totally meh on her recent album until he saw her perform it live. It transformed the songs for him.

I think there's a lot of pent-up rage there that wasn't captured in the recording. Her live show was mad as hell.

Rather upset tickets for the DC date of this tour sold out before I could get them. I mostly would've gone for Courtney

@kvetcha I liked the new album a lot but I can see why people didn't. One of the weakest on the album was "I'm Not Your Mother, I'm Not Your Bitch," which is a super loud and angry track that doesn't gel with the album too much. But live...holy shit. It was incredible.

Yeah, my friend totally turned to me mid-song and theatrically mouthed 'holy shit.'
