I was driving 5 hours after an already long day, and I was fading fast. I spun the dial and this killer soul station came on. It gave me the boost i needed for a solid hour. Loved it ever since.

@Ponman2003 i had a similar experience I came across an incredible Soul/Funk/R&B station while living in Peoria IL in the early 2000s that turned me on to lots of great music. Sadly, it was eventually swallowed up by Corporate Radio and turned into a top 40 pop format. Those couple of years really opened my ears.

Also, I think he’s talking about the movie Soul.

Ohhhhhh!!! Well shit! Hmm, I thought Soul was pretty good, but it wasn't really a kids movie right? Like it kind of tried to be but wasn't?

@siremobunny the whole irish folklore trilogy should probably be in the criterion collection... we need more animation treated as important work
