Needles & Grooves

Disclaimer: I have ended up discovering and later supporting countless bands from downloading music for free. It's nigh impossible to pay for everything, but maybe I will have to cave and get a spotify account

I kinda forgot about it.

It just dawned on me that I haven’t thought about ripping tunes for so long! What ended up happening to torrents and stuff? Are those not a thing anymore? The last I remember was Pirate Bay but weren’t there many different ones?

@Tys1 those are still out there but I rarely ever use them. I have to go on a VPN to mask my Internet etc. and smaller sites with direct downloads had a better selection of indie/less known music. I don’t stream stuff so I would hop on there to download stuff and try it out before buying.

I still torrent a bunch. I also use spotify, but there is just so much missing from spotify and I still have a cd player in my car so I need to be able to burn cds. It's convenient and an easy way to find out about new music/shows/movies/etc....
