Yikes. I just honestly hope he still gets the help he needs and learns from this. As opposed to leaning in harder to appeal to the part of the country that decided to start supporting him this week...
I think a lot of people are just really angry that anyone would dare call them out on using racial slurs, so they will flock to and support those who do so publicly.
Good opportunity for him to show his apology was sincere by donating all of that extra profit to an org that promotes black musicians...obv he won't but
@LeSamourai I wouldn't say they're pushing back on the calling out of people that use racial slurs, but rather people pushing back on what they see as cancel culture and disagreement on the termination of employment for said actions. Of course by doing so, it seems they are pretty much taking his side no matter how nuanced the thought is.
